We decided to try Africa for a winter break, eventually settling on The Gambia. It was a great week, but the stand-out highlight was the day when we went up north to Senegal and went on safari at Fathala Wildlife Reserve!

We enjoyed a touristy day in Brussels with top attractions such as the Atomium, Grand Place and the Parlamentarium on the agenda, and we also made a stop by Mini-Europe – home of the worst attraction in Europe.
