Screw SEO: A short blog post about Coronavirus

My last taste of travel before Coronavirus truly hit the UK, which was a day trip to Ghent in Belgium to watch AS Roma in the Europa League.

I was born on 20 April 1993, almost 27 years ago, and throughout my life my favourite number has been my day of birth.

So you can probably understand why I thought 2020 was going to be a great year - my favourite number, repeated twice. Yet, so far, it has been a nightmare.

I broke up with my girlfriend of six years at the beginning of January, and just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, here came coronavirus.

Coronavirus has already cancelled one of my trips which we had planned for next Friday. It was my Dad’s birthday present - a trip to Rome with my brother and I. Not only was it a celebration for my Dad, but it was also a send off for my brother, who will be heading down to London at the end of the month to start a new job.

Yet coronavirus has completely wiped out those plans, and even the replacement entertainment that we had in mind (a trip to watch a football game). It’s also looking as though it’s going to affect my trip to Algeria next month, and has near enough wiped clean the sporting calendar.

It’s a frustrating time, and what I thought was going to be a great year has been nothing short of a disaster.

I only hope this coronavirus cleans up quickly, but the way it’s going it will probably last for months.

I can only hope 2020 massively improves going forward. Roll on 2021.
